Agent Registry Manager

SkillAI & models

Lets your agent create, update, validate, and explain the agent registry that lists which agents exist and what they do.

Instructions available. Your AI can read the instructions. Execution depends on the setup they require.

Add ahel to your AI once: Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code or Codex. Then ask it to use this.

Then ask your AI: use the Agent Registry Manager skill

About this skill

Use when creating, updating, validating, or explaining the agent registry for a Hermes Agent Control Room.

What this skill tells your AI

The instructions your AI receives, as published by shannhk/hermes-agent-control-room in skills/agent-registry-manager/SKILL.md and read by ahel’s review.

Maintain the registry that tells the orchestrator which agents exist and what they do.

Default registry path:

/srv/agent-bus/registry/agents.yaml

Each registry entry should include:

  • agent name
  • role
  • docs path
  • data dir
  • task queue
  • gateway URL if used
  • dashboard URL if used
  • allowed work
  • forbidden work
  • credential notes without values

Do not store secrets in the registry.
