Skill invocation does nothing in Claude Code

  • Ensure you use the >> /skill-name prefix, not @skill-name (that's Cursor syntax).
  • Check that the skill file name matches exactly: brainstorming.md/brainstorming.
  • Restart the Claude Code session after installing new skills.
