energyai

MCP serverAI & models

energyai gives your AI the ability to review installer quotes and surface energy incentives in a single step. Once added, your AI can also produce estimates and scores and route requests, so you get a clear read on your energy options without doing the legwork yourself.

Use energyai in Claude, ChatGPT or Ahel Desktop

Free. Sign in, add energyai and connect your AI. About a minute.

Also: Claude Code · Cursor · Codex

Then ask your AI: use energyai to check incentives

Details

Available today. Use it from your connected AI after setup.

Add energyai to your AI, then ask it to review an installer quote or look up energy incentives for your project.

What your AI can do with it

  • Review installer quotes in one call
  • Look up available energy incentives
  • Generate estimates
  • Score quotes so they are easier to compare
  • Route requests to the right next step

Install energyai

The server’s own address, for the clients that take one directly. Or connect Ahel once and every client you use reads it from one address, with the account kept on Ahel rather than in each client’s config.

  • Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http --scope user energyai 'https://api.energyaisolution.com/mcp'

Run it once in your project, then open /mcp to approve any sign-in the server asks for.

  • Claude Desktop

    https://api.energyaisolution.com/mcp

Add a custom connector in Settings, paste this address, and approve the sign-in.

  • Cursor

    cursor://anysphere.cursor-deeplink/mcp/install?name=energyai&config=eyJ1cmwiOiJodHRwczovL2FwaS5lbmVyZ3lhaXNvbHV0aW9uLmNvbS9tY3AifQ==

Open the link and Cursor adds the server at that address.

  • ChatGPT

    https://api.energyaisolution.com/mcp

In Settings, enable Developer mode, create an MCP app, and paste this address. Your plan and workspace must allow custom apps.

  • Codex

codex mcp add energyai --url 'https://api.energyaisolution.com/mcp'

Run it once, then sign in with codex mcp login energyai if the server asks for an account.

From the project's README

As published by jdhart81/energyai-mcp in README.md. This repository publishes several servers, so only the opening is shown here.

Solar estimates, incentive sources, provisional Energy Node Scores, cited guides, contractor discovery and consented installer routing — through MCP and REST. By Viridis LLC.

The public catalog supports solar, weatherization, EV charging, home batteries and heat-pump planning. Twelve tools need no key to start. Estimates and scores use supplied facts and stated assumptions; they do not establish site suitability, incentive eligibility, installation approval or verified savings.

Your first call — no key

curl -X POST https://api.energyaisolution.com/api/v1/agent/check_incentives \
  -H 'content-type: application/json' -d '{"args":{"zipCode":"59715"}}'

This requests incentive source guidance for a US ZIP. For a production estimate, use estimate_production with {"zipCode":"59715","systemKw":6}. For a provisional score, use get_node_score with {"zipCode":"59715","serviceType":"solar","monthlyBillRange":"150_250"}. These informational tools accept omitted inputs with documented assumptions or broader guidance; inspect the live schema for the job you need.

Shortened here. Read the whole README on GitHub.
