The context7 plugin is a documentation lookup tool for AI agents. It connects to Context7's hosted remote MCP server to pull version-specific library documentation and code examples directly from source repositories into the model's context. Because the server is hosted remotely, no local Node.js or npx setup is required.

In Claude Code, run:

/plugin install context7@claude-plugins-official

It installs from Anthropic's official plugin marketplace.
