Cover Letter Writer

Overview

A cover letter earns its place only if it says what the CV cannot: why THIS company, why THIS role, why NOW.

Structure (250-350 words)

1. Hook - a genuine, specific reason for applying (their product, project, a post they published) - never "je me permets de vous adresser ma candidature"
2. The bridge - your 1-2 most relevant achievements mapped to their top need (numbers included)
3. Why them - what you know about their context and what you'd bring to it specifically
4. Close - confident availability for a conversation, no groveling

Workflow

1. Inputs: Career opportunity + Master CV + career action=prepare. Company research via web_search / web_fetch on the company site, never a LinkedIn job URL.
2. Identify the ONE thing this employer most needs; build the letter around it.
3. Draft; ban clichés ("dynamique et motivé", "team player") - replace with evidence.
4. proofreader pass; export via docx-generator/pdf-generator or as email text.

Rules

• Never reuse a letter with only the company name swapped - recruiters smell it.
• Every claim in the letter must exist in the CV.
• Human validation before any submission.
