Sessionplan

MCP serverProductivity

sessionplan lets your AI create and edit visual agendas for workshops, trainings, meetings, and events. Once it is added, you can ask your AI to lay out a session step by step and adjust the plan as things change.

Use Sessionplan in Claude, ChatGPT or Ahel Desktop

Free. Sign in, add Sessionplan and connect your AI. About a minute.

Also: Claude Code · Cursor · Codex

Then ask your AI: use Sessionplan to create session link

Details

Available today. Use it from your connected AI after setup.

After adding sessionplan, tell your AI what kind of session you are planning and ask it to draft a visual agenda. You can then refine the plan together until it fits your needs.

What your AI can do with it

  • Create visual agendas for workshops
  • Draft schedules for training sessions
  • Build structured agendas for meetings
  • Plan the running order for events
  • Edit and rearrange agenda items as plans change

Install Sessionplan

The server’s own address, for the clients that take one directly. Or connect Ahel once and every client you use reads it from one address, with the account kept on Ahel rather than in each client’s config.

  • Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http --scope user sessionplan 'https://sessionplan.de/mcp/'

Run it once in your project, then open /mcp to approve any sign-in the server asks for.

  • Claude Desktop

    https://sessionplan.de/mcp/

Add a custom connector in Settings, paste this address, and approve the sign-in.

  • Cursor

    cursor://anysphere.cursor-deeplink/mcp/install?name=sessionplan&config=eyJ1cmwiOiJodHRwczovL3Nlc3Npb25wbGFuLmRlL21jcC8ifQ==

Open the link and Cursor adds the server at that address.

  • ChatGPT

    https://sessionplan.de/mcp/

In Settings, enable Developer mode, create an MCP app, and paste this address. Your plan and workspace must allow custom apps.

  • Codex

codex mcp add sessionplan --url 'https://sessionplan.de/mcp/'

Run it once, then sign in with codex mcp login sessionplan if the server asks for an account.

Getting Started

git clone https://github.com/tim-peters/sessionplan.git
cd sessionplan
npm install
npm run dev

Open http://localhost:5173 (or the port Vite assigns) in your browser.

Self-Hosting

Sessionplan is fully functional without a backend — all data is stored locally in the browser. An optional backend enables the Dynamic Link feature for real-time sync between multiple users.

Dynamic Link (optional backend)

To enable the Dynamic Link feature, deploy a PHP backend that implements the /data/sessions.php REST API (see the API reference). Then set the endpoint URL:

# .env
VITE_SESSIONS_API=https://your-server.example.com/data/sessions.php

If VITE_SESSIONS_API is not set, the Dynamic Link toggle is still available in the UI but all requests will fail gracefully — the planner continues to work fully locally.

See ARCHITECTURE.md for the API contract.
