basic-memory
IntegrationFiles & storagebasic-memory gives your AI a lasting memory through notes it keeps as Markdown files on your computer. It can save new notes, update existing ones, and read them back later, so details from earlier work stay available. Because the notes are ordinary text files, you can open and read them yourself.
This server has no hosted endpoint yet, so ahel can't serve it. You can still add it. It stays paused until ahel can serve it.
After adding it, ask your AI to save a note about something you want it to remember. Later, ask it to read that note back to pick up where you left off.
What your AI can do with it
- Save notes as Markdown files stored locally on your computer
- Update existing notes as information changes
- Read saved notes back later to recall earlier details
- Keep a running knowledge base in plain text files you can open yourself
