molclaw-scp-server

SkillCloud & infra

All tools utilized within MolClaw skills connect via the MCP protocol. This skill is the unified guide for connecting to the deployed MCP server before invoking tools.

Available today. Use it from your connected AI after setup.

Connect ahel once, and every AI you use reads what you have installed.

Then ask your AI: use the molclaw-scp-server skill

What this skill tells your AI

The instructions your AI receives, as published by internscience/molclaw in skills/L1_tools/molclaw-scp-server/SKILL.md and read by ahel’s review.

SCP (Science Context Protocol) is an open-source standard protocol designed to accelerate scientific discovery by building a global collaboration network for autonomous scientific agents, connecting heterogeneous scientific resources (software tools, AI models, datasets, workflow engines, lab instruments, etc.).

1. Server Definition

If MCP environment. is not installed, please run pip install mcp.

Configure the credential through the repository environment template. Never write an API key into a skill, source file, command example, or committed configuration file.

cd /path/to/MolClaw
cp .env.template .env
# Set SCP_HUB_API_KEY in .env, then load it into the current shell:
set -a
source .env
set +a

The server is defined as below:

import json
import os
from mcp.client.streamable_http import streamablehttp_client
from mcp import ClientSession

DrugSDA_Tool_SERVER_URL = "https://scp.intern-ai.org.cn/api/v1/mcp/2/DrugSDA-Tool"

class DrugSDAClient:
    def __init__(self, server_url: str):
        self.server_url = server_url
        self.session = None

            raise RuntimeError(
                "SCP_HUB_API_KEY is not set. Copy .env.template to .env, "
                "set the key, and load .env into the current shell."
            )

        except Exception as e:
            return {"error": f"parse error: {e}", "raw": str(result)}

2. Server Connection

The initialization and shutdown of the MCP server are shown below:

## When start, connect the MCP server
client = DrugSDAClient(DrugSDA_Tool_SERVER_URL)
if not await client.connect():
    print("connection failed")
    return

## When finish, disconnect the MCP server
await client.disconnect()

Note: The deployed MolClaw tool endpoint is https://scp.intern-ai.org.cn/api/v1/mcp/2/DrugSDA-Tool.
