• Put the answer first.
• Keep the structure obvious.
• Tie claims to evidence.

Workflow

Step 1: Choose the right report shape

Match the output to:

• audience
• decision urgency
• expected level of detail

Step 2: Write the lead section first

If the first section does not tell the reader what matters, the whole report is weaker.

Step 3: Support with evidence

Only include evidence that advances the report's purpose. Leave raw extraction noise out.

Step 4: Close with action

Do not end on a vague summary. End on recommendation, next step, or explicit escalation.
