Algrow MCP Server

YouTube research data for AI assistants. Algrow's hosted MCP server lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, Codex and any other MCP client search YouTube channels, find viral and outlier videos, pull channel stats and daily growth, read transcripts, check how channels make money, and generate thumbnails, images, video and voiceovers, all from a normal chat.

Algrow is a paid product. You need an Algrow account with an active subscription (plans start at $25/month, see pricing). Get an API key from Settings > API keys.

This repository holds the listing, setup guides and registry metadata. The server itself is hosted by Algrow; there is no code to run locally.

What you can ask it

You don't need to name tools. Say what you want and the assistant picks and chains the calls.

Find Shorts channels under 100k subscribers in the personal finance niche that gained over 200k views in the last 48 hours, and show me their best video.

Give me @colinandsamir's last 30 days of daily analytics, then tell me which videos drove the biggest subscriber jumps and what they had in common.

Find viral longform videos about home renovation from the last 14 days that did at least 5x their channel's average, and list the title, channel, and view count.

Look up how @alexhormozi's channel makes money outside AdSense, with the evidence for each method.

Find the top outlier thumbnails in the true crime niche this month, break down what they have in common, then generate three thumbnails for my video 'The Case They Buried For 40 Years'.

Save @mkbhd to a folder called Tech Watchlist and alert me when any of its videos become an outlier.

Setup

Claude.ai (web and mobile)

1. Go to claude.ai > Settings > Connectors > Add custom connector.
2. Name: Algrow. Server URL: https://mcp.algrow.online/mcp. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret from the setup page.
3. Claude sends you to sign in with your Algrow account. Click Approve. No API key needed.

ChatGPT (developer mode)

1. chatgpt.com > Settings > Apps > Advanced settings > turn on Developer mode (Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise plan).
2. Settings > Apps > Create App. Name: Algrow. MCP Server URL: https://mcp.algrow.online/mcp. Authentication: OAuth.
3. Tick "I understand and want to continue", click Create, then sign in with your Algrow account the first time a tool runs.
