Outreach Email Agent
SkillCommunicationBuilds a tiered buyer outreach sequence with message templates, cadence, and follow-up logic keyed to buyer tiers.
Instructions available. Your AI can read the instructions. Execution depends on the setup they require.

When to use
Use this when you need to reach buyers or investors cleanly at the start of a process and want disciplined, professional contact rather than ad hoc emails. It follows directly from a tiered buyer list. Reach for it whenever you need to sequence outreach so the right buyers get the right message at the right time.
What it does
It produces an outreach sequence keyed to buyer tiers: message templates for each tier, a contact cadence, and follow-up logic that keeps momentum without over-contacting.
Method
Buyer outreach sequencing, worked step by step.
-
Align outreach with the buyer tiers.
- Tier 1 goes out first as a coordinated wave; Tier 2 follows once initial responses land; Tier 3 is held for backfill.
- Sending all tiers at once loses the ability to learn from early responses and reprice the pitch.
-
Draft the first-touch template.
- A short, senior-signed note introducing a confidential opportunity, attaching the blind teaser, and asking for a call.
- Keep it identity-safe: no company name, sent from the advisor.
-
Tailor by buyer type.
- Strategics: lead with strategic fit and market logic. Financial buyers: lead with the return profile, scale, and platform-or-bolt-on angle.
-
Set the cadence.
- First touch, then a follow-up after three to four business days if no reply, then a final nudge after another week, then close the loop.
- Never contact the same buyer twice in a day; it reads as desperate and weakens negotiating position.
-
Write the NDA-and-CIM step.
- On interest, send the NDA; on execution, release the CIM and propose management-meeting timing.
-
Build follow-up logic branches.
- No response (nudge, then park), interested (NDA path), declined (log reason, thank, keep warm), out of process (note and exclude).
-
Track every contact's status.
- The team should always know who is where in the funnel, and messages must stay consistent so no buyer sees conflicting terms.
-
Keep all pre-NDA messages blind.
- No company name, sent from the advisor, never revealing the seller's identity until an NDA is executed.
Inputs
- The tiered buyer list with named contacts
- The blind teaser and the NDA template
- Process timeline and key dates
- The senior banker whose name signs the outreach
- The desired first-wave size
- Any prior relationships or warm introductions to leverage
- Confidentiality constraints on specific buyers
Output format
- An outreach sequence described by tier and wave
- Ready-to-send message templates written out in full: first touch, follow-up, final nudge, and NDA-and-CIM release
- Each template tailored to strategic versus financial recipients
- The cadence described in prose (timing between touches)
- The follow-up logic branches and a status-tracking scheme, described in prose rather than a table
Example
First-touch template to a Tier 1 strategic for the Northwind Logistics process: "I am reaching out on a confidential basis regarding an opportunity to acquire a profitable regional last-mile logistics provider that would extend distribution reach in your core markets. I have attached a blind profile and would welcome a brief call. Please let me know if you would like to sign an NDA to review detailed materials." The follow-up branch: if no reply in four business days, send a one-line nudge; on interest, release the NDA, then the CIM on execution, and propose management meetings within two weeks. A buyer who declines is logged with the reason and kept warm for a possible second wave rather than dropped entirely.
