RemotionUI

SkillDev tools

Work with the RemotionUI monorepo, registry authoring, CLI commands, remotion-ui.json config, and copy-paste component distribution. Use when adding primitives/scenes/compositions or running remotion-ui CLI.

Instructions available. Your AI can read the instructions. Execution depends on the setup they require.

Add ahel to your AI once: Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code or Codex. Then ask it to use this.

Then ask your AI: use the RemotionUI skill

What this skill tells your AI

The instructions your AI receives, as published by riaz37/remotion-ui in skills/remotion-ui/SKILL.md and read by ahel’s review.

Use this skill when working with the RemotionUI monorepo or helping users add Remotion video components.

For Remotion framework best practices, read in order:

  1. skills/remotion/docs/INDEX.md — mirrored official remotion.dev docs (pnpm docs:remotion to refresh)
  2. skills/remotion/remotion-best-practices/SKILL.md — Remotion skill + conventions
  3. skills/remotion/remotion-create/video-layout.md — prevent overlapping layouts

Philosophy

Components are not published as npm packages. Only the CLI (remotion-ui) is published. Users copy source files into their projects.
