Squad
SkillAI & modelsCollaborate in a local Squad room with Claude, Codex, and human teammates. Use to join live collaboration, manage shared goals or research nodes (Science Cards), coordinate distinct workers, run steward checks, or reset the room.
Available today. Use it from your connected AI after setup.
No other account needed.
Connect ahel once, and every AI you use reads what you have installed.
Then ask your AI: use the Squad skill
What this skill tells your AI
The instructions your AI receives, as published by rjwalters/kicad-tools in .agents/skills/squad/SKILL.md and read by ahel’s review.
Read references/conventions.md before using a workflow. It contains the shared room, identity, claim, confirmation, and tool conventions for both runtimes. Join and verify the team's room before touching shared state; participation and claims are advisory.
Select the reference matching the user's request:
- Join: join the room and hold a live working conversation.
- Goals: inspect, add, or reopen shared goals.
- Card: discover research nodes, connect dependencies/artifacts, or update Science Cards.
- Fanout: coordinate independently identified workers on disjoint assignments.
- Steward: inspect authoritative integration/review/outline state and run bounded reminders.
- Clear: reset the room with explicit user intent.
Claude aliases are /squad:join, /squad:goals, /squad:card, /squad:fanout, /squad:steward, and /squad:clear. Codex can invoke $squad or request these workflows naturally; legacy /squad-<workflow> prompts forward here too. Interpret alias arguments as the user's request, using the same workflow in either runtime.
