That gives you a reliable way to show what a page or API returned at a specific moment.
This server has no hosted endpoint yet, so ahel can't serve it. You can still add it. It stays paused until ahel can serve it.
After adding witnessd, give your AI a URL or API endpoint you want witnessed and ask it to fetch and archive it. More details are in the repository at github.com/jschunter/witnessd-mcp.
What your AI can do with it
- Independently fetch any URL or API response
- Create a hash, a unique fingerprint of the content at the moment it was fetched
- Timestamp each fetch so you know exactly when the content was seen
- Archive a copy of the content for later reference
