SERP API for AI agents: live Google results over MCP

Your agent needs to see what Google shows for a query: who ranks, what the news says, which businesses are in the local pack, what the AI Overview claims. Fetching Google results yourself breaks on blocks and captchas, and each SERP service wants its own account, key and plan.

google.serp.organic returns one row per result with type, position, title, url, domain, description, markdown and references. google.serp.news rows carry position, title, url, source, description and published_at. google.serp.local rows carry position, name, place_id, address, phone, rating, review_count, type, latitude, longitude and website. google.serp.autocomplete rows carry suggestion, position, relevance and suggestion_type, and google.serp.ai_overview returns the text_blocks and the references they cite. Every row keeps its provider and when it was collected.

Each Google task takes a country (two-letter code such as us or de) or a location code, and a language. The default is the United States in English. The local pack also takes a place to search from, such as Austin, Texas, United States.

Several SERP providers sit behind each task. Ahel ranks them by its own measured success, then speed, then price, and moves to the next one when a provider fails; each task page lists them in order with their prices. You do not need an account with any of them, and no key crosses the MCP link.

When we checked on 2 Nov 2026, organic, news, local and AI Overview results ran from $0.000165 per request, autocomplete cost $0.0022 per call and web.search $0.000143 per search, charged only when a result is found. Shown prices include Ahel's margin, and every run is quoted before it starts, so your agent knows the most it can cost.
