What a result looks like

Video rows from youtube.search.videos, youtube.video.detail and youtube.channel.videos share one shape: video_id, title, video_url, type, view_count, like_count, comment_count, published_at, duration, description, channel_name, channel_url, channel_id and subscriber_count. youtube.video.captions returns video_id, title, language, is_auto_generated, the full transcript and available_languages. youtube.video.comments rows carry comment_id, text, author, like_count, reply_count, published_time_text, parent_comment_id and author_is_channel_owner. Every row keeps its provider and when it was collected.

Public data only

These tasks read public videos, captions, comments and channel pages. Private and unlisted videos, members-only content and anything behind a login are not available. A video without captions returns no transcript, and an auto-generated transcript is marked as such.
