Skills.
Give your AI a better way to work.
A skill is a set of written instructions that teaches an AI how to do one job the way it should be done: review a pull request, plan a migration, write the release notes.
Install one here and it travels with your account into Claude, Claude Code, Cursor and every other client you sign in with.

evaluateSkillProductivity
Score a candidate on a split with honest, variance-aware evaluation. Use whenever you need a number for a candidate (the algorithm calls it internally; you can also call it directly to inspect). Runs the target via the adapter for each task, scores each rollout, aggregates mean + standard error, and

hill-climbSkillProductivity
Runs a global hill-climb optimization loop where the parent is always the current best candidate and the val significance gate decides acceptance. Use as the algorithm for most runs — the first run on a new project, binary pass/fail scorers, and small task sets. Pick how each iteration's reflection

intakeSkillProductivity
Starts a cap-evolve optimization run. Interviews the user to decide what capability to optimize, which runner/optimizer/algorithm to use, and where the tasks and the scoring source live, then scaffolds .capevolve/project/ (adapter stub, capevolve.yaml, PROJECT.md). Use when someone asks to optimize

skilloptSkillProductivity
Runs the SkillOpt single-lineage optimization loop, which organizes a hill-climb into epochs over mini-batches of train tasks under a textual learning rate — an integer edit budget that decays on a constant|linear|cosine schedule — and ends each epoch with one extra gated consolidation step. Parent

Front door for cap-evolve: routes an optimization request to the right pipeline phase. Use when someone wants an agent, skill, system prompt, tool surface, or MCP toolset to score higher on an eval, benchmark, or task suite — "optimize my skill", "raise the pass rate on these tasks", "my agent keeps

ai-proofSkillProductivity
Anti-laziness execution discipline for substantial tasks. Use when work keeps coming back half done, when an agent reports done before it is done, when output must be exhaustive rather than fast, on long autonomous runs that tend to stall at 80 percent, or on any invocation like "prove it", "tree N"

What is a skill?
A skill is plain text, usually a SKILL.md file and the scripts it refers to, written for an AI rather than for a person. It carries the steps, the house rules and the examples a good answer needs, so you stop pasting the same briefing into every new chat.
53,585 of the 54,017 skills listed here can be served through ahel today, and they come from public repositories. Each one has its own page with the instructions themselves on it, so you can read what a skill will tell your AI to do before you install it.
Install one and every AI you use gets it
Installing a skill adds it to your gateway and turns it on in the same step. Claude Code surfaces it as a slash command; any client can read the full instructions with the skill_read tool.
Nothing is copied into a project folder. The instructions are served from your account, so the same skill is there in every AI you connect, and turning it off removes it from all of them at once.
