Switch on · How-to guide
Switch on a pipeline
Switch a Ready pipeline on from its own page in one submit, then read its On state, run it now or pause it.
A Ready pipeline switches on from its own page. One form, one press.
Steps
- Open the pipeline from Discover.
- Look at the sample, the sources and the price.
- If the pipeline reads a list, add it first. See Your list.
- Fill in the form under Switch on:
- Where should new rows go? Email (the default) or a Slack channel. Your AI can ask for the rows any time through the connector.
- How often:
- Every day at 07:00 UTC
- Every Monday at 07:00 UTC
- On the 1st of each month at 07:00 UTC
- Only rows that mention: optional words.
- Monthly budget in USD: 5 by default. Runs stop for the month once it is spent.
- Press Switch on.
Want to change the steps? Change the steps opens the same pipeline in the builder. See Build a pipeline.
The On state
After you switch it on, the page shows one line instead of the form, for example: "On. New rows go to your email every Monday at 07:00 UTC."
- When the pipeline reads a list, the line says how many rows every run reads.
- Run now runs it once, straight away.
- Pause turns it off. The form comes back.
- In My pipelines lists it with its runs, the rows each run found and what it cost.
Nothing writes anywhere until you press Switch on.
