Connect your AI · How-to guide
Claude and Claude Desktop
Add Ahel to Claude as a custom connector once; it shows up on claude.ai, in the desktop app and on your phone.
Claude reaches Ahel as a custom connector. You add it once on claude.ai or in the desktop app, and it appears in both.
From Claude's own docs, seen 2026-10-20. Not yet run end to end against Ahel from a Claude account.
Steps
- In Ahel, open Settings, then Connect AI, and copy your address. It looks like
https://mcp.ahel.aiwith your workspace added. - In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors.
- Click Add custom connector.
- Name it
aheland paste the address as the server URL. - For authentication, leave the sign-in on. Leave the client ID and secret empty.
- Click Add, then Connect, and sign in to Ahel with the same account.
- In a chat, open the + menu, then Connectors, and check that ahel is on.
Plans
- Free, Pro and Max: you add it yourself. The Free plan allows one custom connector.
- Team and Enterprise: an Owner adds it under Organization settings, then Connectors. Each member then clicks Connect and signs in.
With an access token
Claude's Request headers section is in beta for some organizations only. If you have it, choose No sign-in and add the header authorization with the value Bearer YOUR_TOKEN, scheme included. Everyone else signs in as above; no token is needed.
